	Transient in My Dreams - 2003 I started work on this out of boredom, using Ulises as a model. (I figured that since I couldn't get the detail I needed to make this a proper Ulises, I'd just make him a wild orca and give him a straight dorsal.) Last night I dreamed about him, and in my dream he was a transient, a type of orca that hunts marine mammals. He was captured along with two females and a calf. The females and calf died. The next thing I knew I was in the water with this guy and a bottlenose dolphin. There was a mesh net next to me, and I somehow lifted the bottom up and he and the dolphin swam out together. So that's why I named this piece after him. Done with Prismacolor pencils on black paper. Took probably around 6-7 hours to do.
