Takara and Kohana - 2003

It's just been one of those times where everything you draw becomes crap. I have six pages of started pieces of artwork that I dumped, just because it wouldn't work for me. When I started this one two weeks ago, I was determined to finish it. Halfway through shading Takara, I realized something looked wrong. I'm not sure what, but it's with her head. Squished, or too wide, or something. But I really wanted to do one of Tik and her calf, and so I plowed on through, finishing this up today.

Meh. I'm so frustrated.

Today is Kohana's first birthday - I didn't even think about that when I finished this.
