Leopard - 2003


I wanted to try something a bit different with this one, and use ink and color. I originally just inked in the leopard using several leopard photographs as reference and originally planned on going over it with watercolor, but changed my mind and used Prismacolor pencils with it instead. There was a long love/hate deal going on with this piece, and it got left for weeks at a time while I glared at it. Finally I just decided to get it over and done with, and so I did. Still not sure if I like it much or not. The leopard needs white whiskers, and those may be added in later. Not sure if markers will work with it or not.
