Giraffe - 2002

I wanted to do a color version of my black and white giraffe, but I couldn't find the same picture. This is close enough, I reckon.

I'm probably most proud of this out of all my artwork. It's my first venture into Prismacolor land, and I think I shall stay in Prismacolor land for some time to come. It has some giraffe-y issues, but overall I'm quite pleased with it.

This is done with Prismacolor pencils on black matting. Any odd lines in the artwork come from scanning - I had to scan it in four pieces as it is quite large, and I couldn't get the pieces to match in color perfectly. Scanning hardly does this justice. =P
